Dr. Billy Pan is a board-certified ophthalmologist, fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist, and refractive cataract surgeon dedicated to providing comprehensive eye care.
Dr. Pan earned both his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Medicine degrees from the University of Southern California (USC), where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, the prestigious medical honor society, and received the Order of Areté, the university's highest distinction awarded to graduate students. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the renowned LAC-USC/USC Roski Eye Institute, where his exceptional clinical and surgical performance earned him appointment as Chief Resident.
Following residency, Dr. Pan completed an advanced fellowship in glaucoma and cataract surgery at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary at Harvard Medical School under the mentorship of internationally recognized glaucoma specialist Dr. Louis Pasquale. During his fellowship, he was named the Richard J. Simmons and Ruthanne B. Simmons Glaucoma Fellow in recognition of outstanding academic achievement and leadership.
His fellowship training provided extensive experience in minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), canaloplasty, traditional trabeculectomy, glaucoma drainage implants, and modern refractive cataract surgery.
