The Vision Institute is truly phenomenal.  Dr. Hou was both personable professional.  He knew what he was doing and treated me like I was his most important patient.  The assistant and receptionist were both equally as friendly and knowledgeable.  I was impressed and would recommend The Vision Institute to everyone.

After the retirement of my long time ophthalmologist and closure of her practice, I was quite anxious about finding a new Doctor.  My first appointment was today and I immediately felt I was in the right hands at The Vision Institute.  Ivan, the technician, saw me through several initial  tests.  He was awesome and clearly loves his job.  Dr. Castro put me at ease with her professionalism and warmth.  She was very thorough as she checked my eye pressure (I have Glaucoma).  I am so happy to have found a wonderful Eye Clinic at the Vision Institute in Rancho Mirage.

I cannot recommend this office highly enough. I called first thing in the morning with an emergency and I was seeing the same day that afternoon. The doctor took her time and was extremely thorough. I would definitely say they deserve five plus Stars.

What a terrific find for me and my eyes! I’m new to the desert and needed an Opthamologist. Dr Castro was very thorough and knowledgeable, she made me feel welcome and at ease at my first appointment. I definitely recommend the Vision Care offices for all of your eye care needs!

Was introduced to the Vision Institute  a month ago and met Dr. Hannah Castro.  Being diagnosed with macular degeneration, I was happy to meet a very devoted professional who listened to my needs, examined my eyes and made great suggestions for my treatment, which ofcourse I followed.  The experience was better than anyone deserves and I highly encourage anyone in need of an ophthalmologist to visit this facility.  You won't be disappointed.

This is a very well run medical facility. All the new technology, no discomfort whatsoever. Dr. Castro has a great manner and gave me a very thorough exam. I strongly recommend the Vision Institute in Ranch Mirage for competent eye care.

This new vision institute in Rancho Mirage is a gem for all desert residents! State of the art equipment and top specialists provide highest quality  eye care! I love my Cedars Sinai ophthalmologist but not the drive. After my first visit a few days ago I'm so relieved. I couldn't ask for more!

Dr. Castro is wonderful. I’ve had both cataract surgeries. Everything went very smoothly.  Dr. Muniz Castro is extremely nice  she explained everything completely. During surgery she kept me calm by speaking to me. All of my appointments have been great. Her staff is also wonderful.

From front desk to technician and physician all were exceptional.

The experience was all good from start to finish. PA Ivan was very professional and pleasant. Dr. Castro took great care in explaining what and how the procedure would was to go. There was a bit of a wait as a patient came in with an emergency.

Every person at this vision center was "over the top" nice front the front desk staff to Dr. Castro. She was very thorough in explaining why my vision was so bad in my right eye. And to top it all off, Dr. Castro said she could do my YAG laser surgery right then and there. I highly recommend this place and Dr. Castro.
